Srijyotsna Volety recently earned her Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Her research has focused on optimizing MRI pulse sequences for diffusion imaging of liver fibrosis and prostate cancer, as well as rapid whole-body imaging of bone metastases. At UW, she also served as chair of the Medical Physics Outreach Committee and helped organize and run hands-on science activities for community events.  

Outside of work, Srijyotsna enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with family/friends and her cat, Bean.
