Shae grew up in northern Idaho and moved to Portland, Oregon in high school where she has remained to pursue higher education. After graduating from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience minor in 2024, Shae began working at OHSU, seeking experience in neuroscience research. In the future, she plans to attend graduate school in order to further develop her career in the field of scientific research. In her free time outside of the lab, she enjoys dancing, video games, and art.
