Biography

Sam has worked with youth and their families experiencing myriad vulnerabilities including trauma, social/emotional needs, and impulsive behavior outbursts in psychiatric residential settings, classroom settings, and in nature. She has a strong background in Ecopsychology, which emphasizes the therapeutic connection between our mental health and the natural world. Through nature, Sam has empowered people with disabilities at summer camp and fostered positive emotional outlets as a raft guide.

Sam loves taking her dogs, Juniper and Yarrow, on adventures and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys being on the water, creating art, snowboarding, backpacking, and trying not to kill her houseplants!
