Biography

I am an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the care of hand, arm, elbow and shoulder conditions. I offer my patients both nonsurgical and surgical options tailored to each person’s needs. I also have a special interest in shoulder replacement surgery, including bone-sparing and reverse shoulder replacement techniques.

My training includes advanced specialty fellowship work in both hand and upper extremity surgery as well as shoulder surgery. I completed my surgical internship at the University of Toronto, my orthopedic residency at the University of British Columbia, and fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery and in shoulder surgery at respected institutions in Canada and the United States. I am board-certified in orthopedic surgery and committed to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care.

I’m also proud to serve as a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, contributing to the training of future surgeons and the advancement of orthopedic care. Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy staying connected with patients and colleagues alike to promote ongoing improvement in treatment and outcomes.
