  • Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, School of Medicine

Dr. Thompson specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, with particular interests in minimally invasive surgery, heavy periods, adolescent care and contraception. She has a strong interest in providing trauma-informed care and care for survivors of sexual violence. She chose the field of OB-GYN because it gives her opportunity to be a place of comfort for women and female-bodied individuals at some of their most vulnerable moments.
