Biography
Pranav was born in San Diego and moved to Corvallis, Oregon around the age of six when his father joined Oregon State University as a professor. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) with an honors concentration in Molecular and Cellular Biology. During his time at Berkeley, Pranav conducted research with the UCSF Bone Quality Research Lab and interned at Boeing and NASA Ames Research Center, where he focused on security and aerospace engineering. After graduating, he joined NASA Ames full-time, working on predictive scheduling algorithms and designing a robust concept of operations for lunar mission coordination. Pranav later transitioned to begin his PhD here at OHSU. He has a wide range of interests including medicine, aerospace, high-performance computing, and 3D printing/fabrication - so please feel free to reach out!
