Patti is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) School of Nursing. Her current appiontment is  Faculty Coordinator of Simulation & Skills for the Monmouth Campus. Patti engages students in shared learning contexts by employing traditional and non-traditional training, teaching & coaching methodologies.  Patti's theory of education is founded on constructivism, believing that each student comes to the learning context with experience and competence. Patti joined OHSU School of Nursing - Monmouth Campus in 2013 and has instructed in many of the UG curriculum courses.  Patti was instrumental in developing the Interprofessional Care Access Network (I-CAN) clinical experience to the Monmouth Campus. Patti completed her UG nursing studies at OHSU in 1978.   After 35 years in nursing practice, Patti returned to school, completing her Master of Education at Oregon State University in 2013.
