Nathan McMahon

Biography

Nathan received his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2015. He then worked as an Imaging Research Specialist in the Research Histology and Tissue Imaging Core at the University of Illinois at Chicago until 2017 when he joined Summer Gibbs' research group at OHSU as a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. His research has been focused on developing fluorescence imaging technologies to design novel cancer therapeutic strategies by elucidating the mechanisms by which a tumor evolves to acquire resistance in response to therapeutic intervention.
