Welcome to the Gibbs Lab

Our research is focused on developing optimized imaging reagents to expand the capabilities of macroscopic and microscopic cancer imaging. This includes the development of fluorescence imaging for image-guided surgery, multicolor microscopy methods, and personalized therapy technologies to visualize and characterize cancer from the operating room to the single-cell level. Read more

Mar 2023 - Today we report in Nature Chemistry on our fluorophore development work for quantitative imaging applications. We can now use OregonFluor-labeled therapeutics to validate drug targets and quantify drug target availability in live cells and tissues. Read more.
