Monica Rincon, MD

Biography

Dr. Rincón completed her residency and earned her MD overseas in Colombia where she studied Obstetrics; she chose an ob/gyn career because she enjoys working with people and is passionate about improving women’s health during pregnancy and beyond. She also has an assistant fellowship certificate in ultrasound. As the leader of the Pregnancy Research Group, Dr. Rincón has coordinated a number of studies regarding preterm birth, preeclampsia, and prenatal diagnosis. Dr. Rincón works tirelessly to teach women about research and help women and their babies achieve the very best health outcomes possible. Dr. Rincón also serves as a consultant for several departments where she oversees protocols that are related to pregnancy. In her free time, Dr. Rincón enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with friends and family and taking short weekend trips to explore nature and take photos.
