Megan Fuerst, M.D., M.P.H.

  • Complex Family Planning Fellow, Obstetrics and Gynecology, School of Medicine

Biography

Dr. Fuerst is originally from a small town in Ohio and stayed within the Midwest to attend the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate degree. She frequently worked internationally in Eastern Uganda during her undergrad and completed a one-year fellowship in South Africa before completing her M.D./M.P.H. at George Washington University.

She came to Oregon for the mountains and the state's supportive reproductive health policies. She completed her OB/GYN residency at OHSU in 2025 and served as administrative chief. She is a current Complex Family Planning Fellow at OHSU. Megan is particularly interested in the intersection of abortion care and addiction medicine and the health policy implementation. When not working, she loves to spend time in the mountains with her husband and bernedoodle "Bertie".
