Margeaux Berroth, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Margeaux Berroth is a diagnostic radiologist who specializes in general radiology and breast imaging. Influenced by her upbringing in the supportive small community of Rhododendron, Oregon, she is passionate about serving rural and underserved patient populations. This is reflected in her desire to practice general radiology in the wonderful town of Astoria, as a Scholars for a Healthy Oregon Recipient.
Dr. Berroth earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University and medical degree from OHSU, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She then completed her internship year in Internal Medicine at Legacy Good Samaritan and Emanual Hospitals. Serving during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, she cared for many folks from rural and underserved areas in the ICU and inpatient wards. She then completed her radiology residency training at both Duke University and OHSU.
After college, Dr. Berroth lived in Australia, where she worked in healthcare administration and played professional water polo. Following that, and prior to medical school, she lived in Hong Kong working as an entrepreneur in business and finance.
Dr. Berroth likes spending her free time with her daughter, husband, and dog; camping and hiking; and staying active cross-country skiing and swimming. She is an avid baker and loves a good mystery.
