- Associate Vice Provost, Center for Diversity & Inclusion
Biography
As associate vice provost of the Center for Learner Diversity and Inclusion I work every day to create and sustain an environment at OHSU where students feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive. Whether by helping students navigate complex systems, offering leadership development and engagement opportunities, or ensuring access to spaces and experience that affirm identity and belonging, I am here to make sure students have what they need to succeed. I believe that student success is deeply connected to community, care, and access—my role is to help bridge those connections across the institution.
Through the Center for Learner Diversity and Inclusion, I support programs, events and partnerships that focus on enhancing the recruitment, engagement, and retention of all students, with an intentional mindfulness of those from historically marginalized and under resourced backgrounds. I collaborate closely with campus partners to foster institutional practices that uplift equity and inclusion.
If you are looking for support with cultivating a sense of belonging on campus, connecting with CLDI supported cultural or identity conscious student interest groups, navigating OHSU policies, or simply need someone to talk to, please reach out. I and my team work alongside student affairs and a number of others across the institution to make sure you feel a keen sense of belonging here.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, Olympic weightlifting, and spending time with my wife and two daughters.
