Originally from Portland, Maddie attended the University of Puget Sound and studied Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis in Bioethics. After graduating in 2017, she worked in the OHSU Pediatric Critical Care and Neurotrauma Recovery Program. Maddie joined the Piantino Lab in 2019 and has been researching post-concussive syndrome and sleep ever since. Outside of the lab, you can find her teaching group fitness classes, watching the latest reality TV show, or walking her border collie.
