Biography
Lisa Bayer, M.D., M.P.H. is a generalist obstetrician and gynecologist and a complex family planning specialist. Her interests include family planning, contraception, adolescent gynecology, alternatives to hysterectomy, and office-based procedures. Her favorite part of being an Ob/Gyn is taking care of women throughout all walks of life, from adolescence through menopause. She feels absolutely privileged to take care of women during some of the most important life moments. Dr. Bayer is involved in clinical research focusing on contraception as well as improving pain during office-based gynecologic procedures. Although not a native of Portland, Dr. Bayer considers herself an Oregonian at heart and loves all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. In her spare time, Dr. Bayer enjoys exploring new hikes, reading fiction, running with her dog, and above all, spending time with her husband and children.
