Biography
Dr. Leah Downey is a neonatologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and her fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at OHSU. Her scholarly work centers on the application of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in neonatal care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been recognized for both academic excellence and humanistic care through membership in Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
