Biography

Dr. Yarris joined the Department of Emergency Medicine faculty in 2005. She currently serves as the Director of the Emergency Medicine Education Section, and Co-Director of the Emergency Medicine Education Scholarship Fellowship. She is the Vice Chair for Faculty Development. Her academic areas of interest include promoting education research in academic emergency medicine, feedback in medical education, and faculty development in education scholarship.  She is Deputy Editor for the Journal of Graduate Medical Education.  Dr. Yarris enjoys spending time with her family, and training and competing in ultramarathons. She can also be found cooking, reading, and knitting.
