Kathleen “Katie” Medwar is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has been practicing in neurology since 2015, and prior to that in primary and urgent care. She has taken care of people with a range of neurological issues and has special expertise in epilepsy. Katie's clinical interests include refractory epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, and complex epilepsy medication management. 

She thinks of medicine more as a calling than a job and is interested in healing as much as curing.
