Biography

Katelyn Osborne joins CEDAR as a Student Worker for the Humarrow team while attending Lewis & Clark College, where she studies Biology and Data Science. Prior to starting at OHSU, she assisted in research using fruit flies as a model organism to explore the genetic, cellular, and molecular mechanisms influenced by drug use, as well as the resulting addictive behaviors. In her free time, she enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, crocheting, and traveling on a budget. Katelyn is thrilled to join CEDAR to continue the development of an in vitro bone marrow model and expand her knowledge in cancer biology and data analysis. She is eager to contribute to a community that prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration.
