Biography
Joe Foy is a board-certified medical physicist specializing in gynecological brachytherapy applications. He received his undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Michigan in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences. He earned his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Chicago with his residency completed from Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago as well. He has been a physicist with OHSU in Radiation Medicine since 2022 where he tends to various brachytherapy-related responsibilities, teaches physics graduate students and residents, and conducts research with graduate students aiming to complete their master’s degrees.
