Biography
Dr. Knapp is a general adult psychiatrist who specializes in reproductive psychiatry. She completed her residency at OHSU. Prior to her training in psychiatry, she completed two years of training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During that time, she delivered babies and performed many types of gynecological and obstetrical surgeries. This experience garnered her a first-hand perspective where reproductive life events intersect with mental health. She chose to switch to psychiatry because she cares deeply about a woman’s internal experience throughout these sensitive times in their life.
Outside of work, Dr. Knapp enjoys spending time with her family, including trips to the zoo and the science museum. She runs, does yoga, and watches “The Great British Bake Off.”
