Hannah Cabasco, B.A.
- PhD Student, Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, School of Medicine
Biography
Hannah grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, but survived four Midwestern winters to earn her bachelor’s degree in music and psychology from St. Olaf College in 2021. After graduating, she moved back to her home state to research the brain-wide basis of task switching behavior at the Allen Institute in Seattle.
Hannah started in the Neuroscience Graduate Program in 2025 and joined the Moss lab in 2026, where they look forward to combining their previous experience with new techniques to investigate state-dependent coding in the olfactory bulb.
Outside of the lab, you can find them typing on their typewriter, collecting vinyl, playing clarinet, and perfecting their chili oil recipe.
