Biography
Evan F. Lind, PhD, is Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Cell, Developmental and Cancer Biology, and Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and a member of the Knight Cancer Institute. He earned a B.A. in Biology from New York University and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover NH. He completed postdoctoral training at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. His research focuses on cancer immunology and the mechanisms of immune suppression in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The Lind Laboratory studies how leukemia cells evade immune attack and develops strategies to improve immunotherapy for patients with blood cancers. Dr. Lind’s research is supported by funding from the National Cancer Institute and other national and international organizations.
