As the Technical Lead for the OCTRI Informatics Innovation Core, Erik oversees the custom research application development efforts and maintenance of the research computing infrastructure for the Innovation Core. He brings over 20 years of experience with web application development to guide the team to deliver innovative solutions to meet researchers needs. While he comes from a technical background, he employs a people-first mentality and strives to foster a collaborative environment with the team and researchers. He harbors a love for Oregon and can be found skiing, mountain biking, and hiking its wild spaces.
