Erica was born and raised in Billings, Montana. As a first-generation student, she participated in TRiO programs Educational Talent Search and Upward Bound while in middle school and high school to learn more about navigating college. She attended Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2019. She later attended the University of Southern California for her Master of Public Administration which she completed in 2022. In her free time, Erica enjoys reading, singing, and playing video games.
