Biography

Emily Jacobsen joined the Physician Assistant Program's faculty in 2007 in a part-time role focused on the academic year. Her responsibilities include facilitating Clinical Medicine Tutorials, proctoring the Physical Exam Lab, grading in both years and academic year course work. She is an Assistant Professor and works with the PA program 1 day per week and the remainder of her time is spent working in OHSU's Family Medicine at Richmond Clinic.

She is a 2004 graduate of the OHSU PA program. She has been active with the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants serving on the CME committee for 4 years. She is enthusiastic about serving the underserved in an urban setting at an FQHC (federally qualified health center) in southeast Portland. She is also passionate about preventive medicine in her practice.
