Biography

As vice provost for student affairs, I lead efforts that help shape a learning environment where students can succeed academically, excel professionally and thrive personally. My work centers on transforming student belonging and success, helping students navigate challenges, access the resources they need and build meaningful connections that support their success at OHSU and beyond.

I bring more than 30 years of experience in higher education and more than 15 years of experience as a faculty member, educator, speaker and trainer and coach. My work focuses on student engagement and building meaningful partnerships that strengthen communities. Over the course of my career, I have developed expertise in academic and student affairs, organizational change, interpersonal communication and leadership, and equity, inclusion and belonging.

In addition to my work at OHSU, I am a past president of ACPA College Student Educators International, and I serve as a faculty member for the Social Justice Training Institute and a co-lead facilitator for the LeaderShape Institute. I am also a parent and partner, an athlete in soccer, a licensed soccer coach and referee, and a trained scout leader.
