Biography
I’m a Hematology and Oncology Nurse Practitioner at OHSU. I provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with cancer and blood disorders. I specialize in oncology treatment management and work closely with teams across OHSU, guiding patients through complex care with empathy and clinical expertise.
Originally from Vietnam, I started my career as a Materials Science Engineer before immigrating to the United States and transitioning into health care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science – Nanotechnology, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing. I’m board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, FNP-C) and hold the Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) credential, reflecting my commitment to excellence in cancer care.
I’m fluent in Vietnamese and have intermediate proficiency in French and Japanese. I deeply value culturally sensitive care and am passionate about supporting immigrant populations and the LGBTQ+ community. I’m also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of health care providers and enjoy teaching medical, nurse practitioner, physician associate, and nursing students.
Outside of my clinical work, I find joy in gardening—especially growing lotus and waterlilies—which connects me to both my cultural roots and my love of nature.
