Biography

Dr. Su-Velez grew up in Northern California and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her Masters of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Su-Velez earned her medical degree at the UCSF School of Medicine. Her residency training was done at UCLA, and she completed her pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Stanford University. She was in practice in Southern California before joining OHSU.  Dr. Su-Velez has research interests in health equity and quality improvement. Her clinical interests are in aerodigestive care (airway, voice, swallowing) and head and neck surgery, but she enjoys practicing across the broad spectrum of pediatric otolaryngology.
