Biography

Becky Reddaway, Ph.D., serves as chief operating officer for the OHSU School of Dentistry, where she drives operational strategy and organizational development across the school’s clinical, education, research and community missions.

She leads core administrative functions, including human resources, informatics and IT, project management and process improvement, to ensure the school’s people, programs and systems operate at their highest potential.

With more than a decade of leadership experience in complex academic biomedical environments, Dr. Reddaway brings a proven record of building effective teams and advancing mission-driven initiatives.

Before joining the School of Dentistry, she spent eight years guiding operations, finance, strategy and business intelligence for the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute’s Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center, or CEDAR.

Dr. Reddaway received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia where she trained as a sensory and systems neuroscientist.  Her graduate and postdoctoral research focused on injury-induced plasticity and neural mechanisms of recovery. She later served as a medical educator faculty at Georgetown University Medical Center, directing the master’s in physiology program and teaching neuroscience. This academic foundation continues to inform her commitment to educational excellence and learner success.

Dr. Reddaway is dedicated to fostering collaborative, inclusive and data-informed cultures so that teams can thrive. Her leadership focuses on aligning operational excellence with innovation and long-term strategic impact for the School of Dentistry and the broader OHSU mission.

Born in London and raised near Washington, D.C., she embraced life in the West as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, camping with family and friends and exploring trails with her dog.
