Biography

I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in head and neck surgery.

I am deeply committed to caring for patients with head and neck cancer, using advanced surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes. My goal is to restore both health and quality of life for all of my patients.

My approach to care is centered on comprehensive, compassionate treatment that focuses not only on successful surgery, but also on preserving and restoring quality of life. I believe in educating and empowering patients so they can make informed decisions about their care. In 2016, I performed the first “Jaw in a Day” total jaw reconstruction on the West Coast, and I continue to advance surgical care through precision medicine, robotic surgery, minimally invasive techniques and patient-specific solutions.

In addition to my clinical work, I lecture nationally and internationally and have authored more than 60 journal articles, textbook chapters and scientific abstracts. My research interests include early cancer detection and minimally invasive facial and oral reconstruction.
