Biography

Dr. Aryan Sarparast, M.D., is an outpatient psychiatrist in the OHSU Adult Psychiatry Clinic where he sees patients for medication management and psychotherapy. He is involved in trainee teaching and supervision. Dr. Sarparast's scholarly and public health work focuses on risk management related to psychedelic use, harm-reduction efforts, and interactions between medications prescribed in psychiatry and MDMA or psilocybin. He takes a holistic evidence-based approach to care and is passionate about working with marginalized groups. He wants his patients to know that he welcomes and values patients of all ethnicities, races, languages, religions, abilities, sexual orientation, and cultures.
