  • Associate Professor of Dermatology, School of Medicine

Biography

Alison Small, M.D. sees patients with a wide range of skin, hair and nail disorders at OHSU’s Center for Health & Healing, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, and Randall Children’s Hospital. She enjoys helping patients with common dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, rashes, birthmarks, and other lumps and bumps. She has particular interests in vascular anomalies (hemangiomas, venous and lymphatic malformations, port wine stains, overgrowth syndromes) and genetic skin disorders. She enjoys teaching and is lucky to have medical students, residents, and fellows working with her to learn and care for patients.

Alison grew up in Tempe, Arizona before living in San Francisco for her dermatology training and pediatric dermatology fellowship. She has now settled in Oregon with her husband, and they have quickly fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest and all the beauty and adventure it has to offer. In her free time Dr. Small enjoys traveling, cooking (and eating!), hiking, and riding bikes.
