Biography
I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Downers Grove, IL, A.K.A "8th friendliest town in America" according to Forbes. I went to the cornfields of the University of Illinois in Champaign for undergrad, then to Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, before taking the long drive out to University of Arizona - Phoenix for my Med-Peds training. There, I fostered a love of teaching, mentorship, physician wellness, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). I stuck around for a COVID crazy IM Chief year where I fostered my passion for POCUS and then followed it up to OHSU for the General Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship. I loved the high level of care and conscientious faculty and staff at OHSU and was fortunate to sign on as faculty. I currently teach POCUS to all levels of learners, from students to faculty, and engage in clinical research. Otherwise, you can find me running, hiking, cycling, and skiing. I am excited to meet and care for you as part of this excellent group of clinicians!
