Presentation Proposals for the Oregon Rural Health Conference - less than two weeks to submit!

2020 Oregon Rural Health Conference

The Oregon Office of Rural Health seeks proposals for presentations at the 37th Annual Oregon Rural Health Conference, to be held October 7-9, 2020 at the The Riverhouse in Bend, Oregon. Interested presenters are invited to submit a proposal by February 14, 2020.

Background
The annual Oregon Rural Health Conference is the largest gathering in Oregon dedicated to sharing information and showcasing innovative approaches to health and the delivery of health care in rural Oregon. The conference brings together providers, administrators, consumers, policy makers and others to exchange ideas and share expertise. Click here for information about the 2019 annual conference.

Presentation Topics
The conference will focus on areas that are important to rural: hospitals; clinics; EMS; healthcare workforce and healthcare policy. Proposed presentations should inform attendees and/or share success stories and best practices to address rural health care challenges and improve the quality of care. Presentations are NOT an opportunity to sell a product or service. We will offer continuing education credits, so clinically oriented presentations are welcome along with those aimed at a broader audience.

Proposal Requirements
The proposal should be a maximum of one page and must include the following information:

  • Name, contact information and brief bio of presenter(s)
  • Name and contact information of person submitting the proposal, if different than above
  • Title and description of presentation
  • Two learning objectives
  • Presentation style (e.g., PowerPoint, facilitated discussion, panel, etc.)
  • Description of the significance of the topic and its relevance to conference attendees

All correspondence, including acknowledgement of receipt of submission, will be conducted electronically.
