2026 Oregon Rural Health Excellence Awards

Oregon’s rural health and community-based organizations often demonstrate exceptional resourcefulness, teamwork and creativity when addressing improvement in healthcare and health outcomes. To recognize organizations that demonstrate remarkable dedication to the delivery of healthcare in their rural communities, ORH invites eligible facilities to apply for the Oregon Rural Health Excellence Award. 
  
 We will honor up to five awardees, one in each of the following categories: 

• Rural hospital; 
• Rural Health Clinic (RHC); 
• Local public health department (LPHD); 
• EMS agency; and 
• Community-based organization (CBO). 

Nominations are due by Aug. 31.  
 
Winners of the award will be honored at the 2026 Oregon Rural Health Conference, to be held Oct. 7-9 in Bend. Awardees will receive a registration scholarship to attend.
