2025 Oregon Areas of Unmet Health Care Need Report

The 2025 Oregon Areas of Unmet Health Care Need Report is now available online. You can compare your Oregon community with 127 others in the state according to nine different primary care, dental care and mental health variables, which include the following:

  1. Time to nearest patient-centered primary care home (PCPCH);
  2. Primary care capacity;
  3. Dentists per 1000 population;
  4. Mental health providers per 1000 population;
  5. 138-200% of poverty rate;
  6. Inadequate prenatal care per 1000 births;
  7. Preventable hospitalizations/ambulatory care sensitive conditions;
  8. Emergency department non-traumatic dental visits; and
  9. Emergency department mental health/substance abuse visits.
