Dr. Stenzel-Poore is a nationally recognized neuroimmunologist and NIH-funded investigator for more than 20 years. Her lab focuses on immunotherapy research that seeks to protect the brain against injury in stroke. In her role as chief of research operations, Knight Cancer Institute, she has responsibility for strategic leadership of the research mission in collaboration with research leaders at the Knight Cancer Institute.
