Laura Dorneman is a nurse at Doernbecher's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic who focuses on survivorship. As the nurse coordinator for Doernbecher's Cancer Survivorship Program, Dorneman works with patients who are survivors of childhood and young adult cancers or bone marrow transplants. In her role within the multi-disciplinary team, she develops treatment summaries for patients, and following national guidelines, recommends lab work and other screenings. During and after Survivorship Clinic visits, Dorneman provides education to patients and families, works with primary care providers for continuity of care and helps to connect patients with resources.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, gardening and reading.
