Kylene Lowrey, B.S.

  • Staff, CEDAR, OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, School of Medicine

At CEDAR, Kylene Lowrey works on creating cell cultures in hydrogels and using ultrasound to facilitate localized release of microbubbles in these hydrogels. She worked for several years in materials science, specifically creating unique inorganic nanoarchitectures. She hopes to translate this knowledge to CEDAR by creating nanobubbles for ultrasound release in the hydrogels. Lowrey is also interested in targeted drug delivery using nanoscale science.
