Biography

Katie Hennis leads strategy and programming to foster organizational, team, and individual effectiveness as well as to advance CEDAR’s commitment to team science. She applies organizational development best practices to continually promote an organizational culture where teams are enabled to realize CEDAR’s early detection research goals. Katie has spent the majority of her career at the Knight Cancer Institute in a variety of community facing, program development, and administrative leadership roles. She has also led programs in a variety of non-profit organizations. Most recently, she led change management efforts at a major sportswear brand. Katie has a Master of Science degree in Population Health from the University of York, in the United Kingdom.
