Biography

Katie Artis is an Associate Professor of Medicine at OHSU in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Staff Physician at the Portland VA Medical Center and the Medical Specialty Care Director of VISN 20 (Pacific Northwest region of Veterans Health Administration).

She received her Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care training at OHSU and has remained on as faculty since 2015.

Her clinical interests include COPD and ILD and utilizing telehealth and other innovative care delivery models to expand the reach of specialty care to patients in rural areas.

Her role as VISN 20 Medical Specialty Care Director includes oversight and collaborative support of medical specialty care at eight VA medical centers.
