Biography

Jennifer joins CEDAR after seven years working as a lab manager and technician at Portland State University, researching phenotypic effects of mitochondrial DNA mutation and mitonuclear interactions in the Caenorhabditis elegans nematode model in Dr. Suzanne Este’s lab. She has a M.S. degree in Biology and a B.S. degree in Micro & Molecular Biology from Portland State University. Jennifer is a houseplant and gardening enthusiast, specializing in growing large tropical varieties indoors, and she also enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking and kayaking.
