Biography

As Director of the Educational Debt Counseling and Financial Management Program at OHSU, I provide personalized guidance and education to accepted applicants, current students, and alumni through one-on-one counseling and dynamic in-person and virtual workshops. My approach is supportive and nonjudgmental, creating a space where individuals can build customized financial strategies that promote both confidence and long-term well-being.

Together, we explore a wide range of topics including financing your education, understanding federal student loans, navigating repayment and forgiveness options, budgeting effectively, and building strong personal credit. My goal is to help students stay focused on their academic journey by ensuring they have a solid financial plan—and the support to adapt when life circumstances change.

I am passionate about increasing access to higher education by identifying financial opportunities such as scholarships, external aid programs, and state or federal loan repayment and forgiveness options. Whether you're seeking funding, building financial literacy, or navigating a financial setback, I'm here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

In my free time I enjoy traveling with my family, trying new recipes, and cultivating joy through various art forms.
