Biography
Hilary Shreves is the director of the Urologic Oncology Early Detection and Survivorship Clinic. She specializes in the care of patients with cancers of the genitourinary tract, as well as individuals at elevated risk for developing these cancers. Hilary is deeply committed to early cancer detection, knowing that prompt diagnosis can significantly improve patient outcomes.
She supports patients through all stages of their cancer journey—from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship—focusing on enhancing quality of life throughout. Hilary provides comprehensive follow-up care, closely monitoring for cancer recurrence and managing treatment-related side effects. Her care addresses a wide range of survivorship concerns, including urinary and sexual function, hormonal health, emotional well-being, and long-term surveillance.
Believing that survivorship is not only about being cancer-free but also about living well, Hilary is passionate about empowering her patients to reclaim their health, confidence, and sense of normalcy.
In addition to her clinical work, Hilary is actively involved in mentoring, precepting, and teaching students entering the medical field. She contributes to the development of survivorship programs and participates in educational outreach, support groups, and advocacy initiatives to expand awareness and resources for individuals affected by urologic cancers.
Outside of work, Hilary enjoys spending time with her husband and five children. Her hobbies include pottery, gardening, exercising, and cooking healthy meals for her family.
