Biography

Guangru (Ben) comes from Guangdong, China. He graduated from the Southern University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, working on biomedical optics in his undergraduate research. Ben is mentored by Dr. Yali Jia in COOL Lab at Casey Eye Institute. His main research interest is advancing the hardware and software support of optical coherence tomography systems.
