Biography
Florian Goncalves joined CEDAR as a new biomedical engineering Ph.D. student after one year spent in San Diego, CA working for a start-up tjat specialized in personalized medicine and precision drug monitoring. Based on his previous experience and background in general engineering and diagnostic biotechnologies, Goncalves seeks to work on a project involving the development of point of care diagnostic devices applied to cancer detection. He is also interested in working with techniques such as phage display. He is a native of Nimes, a small town in the south of France.
