Dr. Carrie Phillipi is a general pediatrician and takes care of a wide array of childhood health issues including well child care, acute illnesses, and chronic medical and/or behavioral problems. Dr. Phillipi enjoys working with children and their families because she has the opportunity to teach both patient and parent and can be an active participant in a child’s healthy upbringing. In her academic role, Dr. Phillipi enjoys clinical research and working with students and residents. As the medical director of the mother baby unit and a certified lactation counselor, Dr. Phillipi particularly enjoys caring for mothers and infants. 

Dr. Phillipi has four children herself who range in age from elementary school to college.
