Dr. Hatch graduated from Cornell University and received a medical degree and master degree in public health from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). She then completed two residencies at OHSU – one in Family Medicine and one in Preventive Medicine. As a family physician, she loves providing holistic care of patients and their families across the life cycle. Her additional training in preventive medicine allows her to help patients, families, and the community to find ways to be well. Her interests include reproductive health, obstetrics, children’s health, treatment of addiction, and public health. In addition to caring for patients, she is active in research working to improve our systems of health care. Outside of work, Brigit can often be found on long bike rides, wielding power tools, or playing in the garden with her husband and son.
