As the Program Coordinator for Graduate Studies, Alex Breiding is responsible for providing functional direction and overall monitoring of programs for students within the School of Medicine Graduate Studies. Alex primarily ensures that academic and programmatic policies are implemented in the program and oversees systems related to graduate student recruitment, admissions, onboarding, and progression tracking.  Before joining OHSU, Alex was part of the undergraduate curriculum office at American University in Washington, D.C. Beyond academic affairs, Breiding has worked in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming at University of Maryland, College Park. Breiding's professional interests include assessment, curriculum planning, and data science.
